Sleep paralysis

i thought sleep was supposed to heal us and yet its nightmare after nightmare, just negative themed dreams to the point I feel PAIN in my dreams, always waking up throughout the night bc of some bs dream! does anyone else feel pain during your dreams? this has been going on since I was 8 with sleep paralysis, vivid dark dreams, I'm so defeated

extreme case of sleep paralysis, or did I really watch myself go through what seems to be a guided trip to another place an time. it's hard not to say it wasn't real cause I was sitting on the edge of my counter so if I did fall asleep I'd fall to the floor. but when meditating like I did that night I leave my body. I watch myself go an with nothing to provoke such a trip is kinda odd now an if anyone out there can talk to me bout all that I'd really appreciate it. hoping to hear I'm not crazy.

Heyo, does anyone on here have severe sleep paralysis? I have had it for as long as I can remember and I have it about 3 to 4 times a week. I am considering getting an emotional support animal to wake me out of the episodes. Thoughts?

i keep having bouts of night terrors and sleep paralysis when i do sleep which is after months of going without sleep and i have even gone years with no sleep. this all started with one dream i had when i first turned 18 years old and it has stuck with me for years. im 37 now and still remember it.

Several doctors suspect I have a sleep disorder (I have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, can’t sleep until the morning hours, and have occasional episodes of sleep apnea and sleep paralysis). Unfortunately, my insurance doesn’t cover a sleep study, so I just take a muscle relaxant every night to help me sleep. Any sleeping tips? 😴
