Binders

Treatment

Binders are also sometimes called “toxin binders,” and the idea is that they’re magnets for harmful substances in the body. Generally speaking, binders are made of solid particles that pass through your GI tract unabsorbed, hopefully taking pesky toxins with them. Charcoal, clay, chlorella, pectin, and silica are all sometimes used as binders, and people look to them to cleanse the body of everything from chemicals to heavy metals.
