Cat's claw

Treatment

Cat’s claw, also known as una de gato, is a vine native to the Amazon rainforest and other areas of South and Central America. Medicinal uses of cat’s claw, begun by the Incas centuries ago, have included everything from contraception to treatment for inflammatory conditions. Nowadays, people rely on it for support in healing from viral infections like herpes, human papillomavirus (HPV), and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and managing conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, and more.
