Mind-body therapy is a big part of healing, as you’ve probably discovered by now! This particular mind-body healing approach maintains that the primal brain's reactions to physical stress leads to a never-ending cycle of illness, resulting in many of the invisible illnesses we're all familiar with, including chronic fatigue, IBS, and others. Ashok Gupta's methods, based on his own research and recovery from illness, are designed to retrain the mind's hyper-reactions to trauma, stop the cycle of disease, and activate the body's own healing mechanisms. All in all, sounds pretty ideal, right? The approach is complicated, but (mostly) based in science. The Gupta Program features an online amygdala retraining program drawn from many spheres of therapy; coaching and healing; videos; healing exercises; webinars; and lots of advice on living a more holistic life.
